Our story

Mike Pizza was created in the years 2001 from an idea of the chef Michele Cuozzo (outside of Italy, also known as “Mike”) which, come back from Singapore, decided to open a traditional Italian pizza restaurant located in him hometown Sala Consilina, Salerno, Italy.

The traditional wood oven has been built by the chef Michele Cuozzo.

The name, the logo and the sign are born from the experience lived in Asia and from the combination of colors that could not only attract the attention of customers, but also can be easily memorized.

Mike Pizza have been tirelessly perfecting the recipes and baking technique for years. It selected the best ingredients available on the market for each and every pizza ingredient.

The success of Mike Pizza was based on the mix between the traditional Neapolitan-style pizza and the innovation introduced by the chef Michele Cuozzo.

The continuous improvement has been one of the key elements for the success of Mike Pizza’s diches. For example the revised version of the Neapolitan-style pizza for Salerno province.

On 2020, after many experiences in various restaurants in Asia, chef Michele Cuozzo decided to rebuild the same Italian restaurant concept in Jakarta, Indonesia remaking the same rustic enviroment.
